Amy Starr is your therapist at Starr Sports Massage.

 

Amy is a professionally trained dancer, having secured scholarships to study Classical Ballet at the world renowned Arts Educational School (now known as Tring Park) and Theatre Dance at London Studio Centre, graduating with a BA (hons) along with a diploma in Jazz Dance.

 

Since graduating Amy has worked in different areas of the industry as a dancer and actress, including working with Dita Von Teese and appearing in prime time TV commercials. Amy has also worked as a dance lecturer, gaining her PGCE from Oxford Brookes University.

 

Whilst studying at the Arts Educational School, Amy sustained a severe injury that required her to take 2 years out of training. Motivated by this experience, Amy decided to train as a sports massage therapist. Although fully qualified, Amy participates in continuous professional development; attending additional courses to further her knowledge and expertise.

 

Amy is a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists.
